Access Advisors is now a Social Enterprise, with up to 15% of our revenue going to BLVNZ.  We work with a variety of other organisations who also aim to improve accessibility for people with access needs. Our partners share a vision to support people with access needs.

July 2017

Blind Foundation creates Access Advisors as a consultancy to improve web access

July 2019

Dr Chandra Harrison first employed by Access Advisors as a consultant

November 2019

User Research Limited bought Access Advisors from Blind Low Vision NZ

December 2020

Access Advisors received InternetNZ funding for NZ1000 research project

March 2021

Access Advisors became NZTech TechWeek’s Accessibility Partner

February 2022

Chandra Appointed as the G3ICT/Smart Cities for All Country Representative (New Zealand)
