This 4 hour workshop will equip your Workplace Accessibility Champions and/or H&S professionals with the practical skills and knowledge needed to audit your work environments for access barriers.
We will cover best practice accessibility for the most common barriers and access needs including those:
- for people who use wheelchairs or have mobility issues,
- people who are blind or have low vision,
- people who are deaf or have hearing impairments,
- people with neuro-diversity,
- or have intellectual and cognitive impariments.
Ensuring your workplace environment is accessible makes it a better environment for everyone! Your delegates will leave with the practical skills to be able to go back and start assessing your own workplace at regular intervals and be able to make simple adjustments wherever possible to remove barriers and improve your accessibility.
Morning tea(Wellington)/Light lunch(Auckland) is provided and participants receive a certificate of successful completion after the training.
