A11y Camp 2020
November 12 - November 13
Announcing A11y Camp 2020
Save the date!
We’re thrilled to announce that Australia’s largest accessibility conference, A11y Camp, will be held over two days on 12 and 13 November 2020.
To make sure that everyone can attend in the safest way possible, this year’s A11y Camp (including workshops) will be entirely online. Registrations will open shortly, we’ll let you know as soon as they’re open.
Presentations and workshops – proposals open from next week
Applications will open next week to submit proposals for both presentations and workshops at A11y Camp.
Following your feedback from last year’s A11y Camp, we’ll be accepting proposals for both short presentations (20 minutes) and long presentations (40 minutes).
We’re looking for a range of presentations – some that focus on strategy, design and content, and others that focus on technical innovation, design and testing. And by being online, more of you will have the chance to present at A11y Camp!
For the first time, we’re also accepting proposals for A11y Camp workshops. All workshops this year will be half-day workshops.
We’re looking for a range of workshops suitable for project managers, business analysts, developers, designers and/or content authors, and can be interactive for participants. Dates will be confirmed after reviewing proposals, but will be held during Australian and New Zealand friendly timezones. If you think your potential workshop needs to be a full day workshop or not sure if your workshop is suitable, contact us through our website and we’ll be happy to talk with you about it.
A limited number of sponsorships are being accepted for this year’s A11y Camp.
Sponsorship allows us to make sure that all sessions are as accessible as possible (including live captions and Auslan), and also lower the price of registrations.
If you’re interested in being a sponsor for this year’s A11y Camp, contact us through our website.
